For more than 45 years, woodworking has been at the heart of Hector Garcia's life. Growing up in Colombia, he learned the craft alongside his father, where a passion for woodworking became a lifelong calling. Those early years taught him the value of patience, precision, and creating pieces built to last.

He spent 8 years at Tucker Robbins in New York City and 12 years at Hudson Furniture, refining his expertise in custom furniture and architectural millwork. Working on a wide range of residential and commercial projects helped shape the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality that define H&G today.

In 2019, Hector founded H&G Solid Wood Furniture with a simple goal: to create timeless custom furniture and millwork that showcases the natural beauty of solid wood. Every piece is handcrafted with the same care, integrity, and dedication that have guided his work from the very beginning.
